The Department of Zoology was established in the academic year 2021–22 to serve the needs of the Science stream under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Initially, the department offered Zoology along with Chemistry. It has well-qualified faculty dedicated to the academic and overall development of the student community.

The department constantly strives to offer relevant, updated, and practical knowledge to prepare students for modern scientific challenges.
