The Department of Mathematics was established in the academic year 2021–22 to serve the Science stream under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Initially, it was allied with Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science combinations.

The department offers a comprehensive undergraduate program balancing traditional concepts with modern learning approaches.

As mathematicians dispel uncertainty through logic and clarity, we too strive to expel the darkness of ignorance by nurturing students with true education—founded on the divine principles of Truth, Love, and God. By cultivating strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills that extend into daily life, we empower learners to think clearly, act wisely, and live purposefully.

• To provide structured and rigorous training to the rural young men and women of the region, enabling them to build strong foundations just as mathematics builds complex ideas from first principles.
• To design academic programmes that equip learners with the logical adaptability and quantitative reasoning required to meet global demands—much like mathematical models that respond to real-world challenges.
• To create and promote analytical thinking, creative exploration, and innovative problem-solving—skills inherent in every young mind and essential for mathematical discovery.
• To establish a value-based educational system that develops perseverance, precision, discipline, and a spirit of meaningful contribution—qualities central to the practice of mathematics.
